The Things I Keep

digital flip book | Japanese stab binding, mixed media | 2025

This poetry and book design project explores identity through objects and material memory. I wrote each poem and designed every page using photographs and scans of personal belongings from my room as both subject and texture. Digital collages and overlays merge word and image, while the hand-bound edition incorporates physical collages, woven, layered, and tactile, inviting readers to feel the space she writes from. The result is an intimate archive of selfhood and memory, where keeping becomes both an act of creation and remembrance.
